Research Hubs
Our hubs bring together a network of researchers across the five programmes to foster innovation and collaboration in key cross-cutting approaches and methodologies.
In 2025, the Planet Hub was launched, joining the five existing hubs. Among the year’s activities, the Science with Society Hub engaged with the new Campus Clínic de Salut UB, promoting citizen involvement in shaping future health infrastructures, and started developing an internal executive training programme on citizen science. The PR3 Hub convened Catalan and national experts from academia, policy, and the health sector to lay the groundwork for the P3R3 platform, with a particular focus on adaptation and resilience to infectious, environmental, and climate-related risks. The Exposome, Health Analytics, and Implementation Science Hubs also continued their work, bringing together internal and external researchers through seminars, workshops and newsletters.
